Evening Cubs,

This weekend we are hosting ALL teams. We have a few of the older age groups playing Friday night at Koola Park. We will set up the BBQ, so sausage sandwiches and basic drinks will be available. The remaining games will be held at Memorial Oval on Saturday. It should be a big day, so I would appreciate everyone helping where possible. This includes, canteen, ground set up / pack up etc.

The draw has changed several times in the last 24hrs, so I am hesitant to post this, as I have no doubt that the times will change again……but here goes…

Fixtures are:
Friday Night:
12’s @ 6.30pm v Avalon Bulldogs at Koola Park
13’s @ 7.30pm v Avalon Bulldogs at Koola Park
15’s v Narraweena Hawks @ 7.30pm Koola Park – This is still TBC

Saturday:
6’s @ 9.35am v Hills Hawks
8’s @ 10.25am v Asquith White
10’s @ 11.15am Cubs Yellow v Cubs Brown
11’s @ 12.05pm v Pennant Hills Stags Red
13’s Tag @ 1.45pm v Hills Hawks

I would encourage everyone to download the MyLeague App. This will allow you to stay up to date with all fixtures and results throughout the season. Please note that all the changes seem to take a while to update on the app. Also, I wouldn’t be looking too far in advance as there will be changes. This should settle down as the season progresses.

Our coaches and managers will be distributing raffle tickets to each player at training this week. We are asking every family to sell a minimum of one book of tickets to assist us with our fundraising efforts. The tickets should be easy to sell as we have some great prizes on offer. They include:
• 4 x elite State of Origin experiences at game 3.
• Signed NRL jersey from selected Sydney team
• Selection of Australian wines ($500)
• Pizza Oven
• Vertical smoker
• Drummoyne Bait and Tackle voucher

A reminder that we are still operating under COVID safe conditions – that means:
• If you are unwell, please stay away.
• Sign in upon arrival at the venue.
• Keep a social distance.
• No sharing of drink bottles. All players must have their own bottles clearly marked.

I have attached the NRL National Code of Conduct. This is a document that often gets forgotten but it is one of the most important documents in our game. Please ensure that you read and understand this document. Please ensure your child also gets to read it.
